  We live in an old, historic house with front-facing single paned windows. One window had rot in the bottom and needed repair. Steve & Co. at Cedars removed the old window, replaced the rot with cedar, then repainted it inside and out. I dare anyone to find the window that was repaired. It looks like new. Really great craftsmanship.

  The initial contact with Cedars answered a lot of questions which gave us tine to choose a course of action. They turned and installed a porch post under less than ideal conditions. 1) There was no post commercially available (the fluting didn't match) - they turned a new post that exactly matched the others and that was 10 times better than the nearest competitor. 2) The installation was a little tricky because of weather and the original post was integrated with the porch framing. They completed the job and not only is the porch structurally sound but it looks great.
